To be clear Lizza’s story is that Nuzzi sat on important matters of national significance for personal benefit and he’s sat on these details until he could personally benefit.

All of DC media needs to be thrown into the sea. Anyone who defends these people is a goddamn clown.

the invasion of Afghanistan is among the most horrific recent chapters of the long history of elite impunity in the US. this coda is grim but fitting - the govt practically explicitly affirming that it should only be Afghans who live with the consequences amid fading public memory of the atrocity
It didn’t even take 6 hours.

I think plenty of it speaks to the state of the media, but an obvious one is that Vox and Vanity Fair barely investigated her and that she managed to commit an unforgivable journalistic crime before getting a book deal and walking into another prestige job, while plenty of others are being laid off
you know, what if they aren't actually a commentary on journalism or the state of media. what if these people are just extremely weird

This is a level of petty by Vieira that I wholeheartedly endorse.

incredibly funny (not the good kind) how c-suite assholes have spent years convincing people that things like unions and living wages will drive up prices. and now that wages are down and unions are weakened, they're raising prices anyway

The CDC has turned off its vaccine search tool.

The vaccines.gov site now gives an error when you enter a valid zip code.

They also removed text saying “Vaccines can help you stay healthy” and added a banner saying the site is being updated.

47 goals scored in 17 games is an absurd clip. Nearly 3 goals/game.
We are once again here to tell you that Frank Lampard has Coventry cooking 🔥

Now 10 points clear atop the Championship after winning away at second place. They've 10 wins from 11 games—the best form in the club's 142-year history. Simply sensational 🐘

I think we can safely say that the Leavitt's brother called ICE on his ex, the mother of his child, and I have to say: I have no desire to respect, find common ground or share the country with these monsters.
“After Ferreira was detained, Dos Santos Rodrigues said Michael Leavitt Sr. and his father, Bob Leavitt, reached out to her.”

“‘They just kept saying, ‘Tell her to self-deport,’” she recalled. “Self-deport to where? Brazil is not her home.’” www.bostonglobe.com/2025/11/26/m...

The news that Belgian football feared: as happened in France, DAZN is pulling out of its broadcasting deal with the ProLeague with immediate effect. Should no solution be found (which appears the likeliest scenario), the league's 16th round will not be broadcast in Belgium.

When you draw a platoon leader like Hegseth, it’s your worst nightmare. You just ride it out until he’s gone and gets replaced by someone who isn’t a complete jackass. Only a fool like Trump would put one of them in charge of the entire defense department.
