Just watching our FA Cup run from last season. & it’s really dawned on me how much I miss Eze. Yeremy will prove to be a great addition, I have no doubt - but Ebs is up there with Wilf & Olise for just conjuring something up out of nothing. He drove me mad at times but what a player he was. #cpfc

Mateta has been integral to how we play since the moment Glasner turned our fortunes around. I get he’s missed some very good chances, but this team doesn’t work as well with Nketiah up top. All good strikers go through bad spells - JP’s return is still very good for us this season. #cpfc

Eze’s finish was technically sublime last night. Hitting a moving ball, 1st time, at an angle, 18 yards out…yet the England twitter accounted tweeted Foden put it on a plate. The ITV comms team were all about Foden. Gabriel Clarke actually asked Eze if it was all about the assist. Wtf am I missing?!
