Bluesky wide monthly bookclub!!!

I've already read Circe, but I remember when I first read it I was surprised by how immersive it was. I usually have to suspend so much disbelief when I read mythology, but somehow Madeline Miller makes Greek mythology come to life. #BookSkyBookClub 💙📚

Yikes! 20 weeks is rough. Although I know it's quite popular so that isn't surprising.

FWIW, I have heard a few negative reviews about the audiobook, so reading it as book book might be better anyways 😁

Based on the way this went last month: Post any thoughts as you read with #BlueskyBookclub. That feed should be considered spoiler friendly.

I'll also post a few spoiler free questions throughout the month, and then the week of the 13th I'll post more spoiler-y question about the book each day.

Because we're starting late due to Thanksgiving and because of the holidays this month, I'm going to make this month a bit longer and we'll read into January. Wrapping up January 13th. In January we'll select the book for February and start it a bit early.

There is No Antimemetics Division by QNTM
I just finished There Is No Antimemetics Division by qntm and that would be an amazing option for a book club. I’m also about to start God’s Junk Drawer by Peter Clines so I’ll suggest that too as an option I can read along to. 😁

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
Just off the top of my head, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot. Non-fiction, but as thrilling and enganging as a novel. It WILL change your world view.
