When the CIA did this to the Senate it was one of the biggest intel scandals of the 21st century. But here it’s not just a huge scandal, it’s dumb: Pam Bondi is so bad at her job she brought the evidence herself to an open congressional hearing. www.theguardian.com/world/2014/j...

Trump didn’t really TACO. Homan didn’t change tactics. They just wanted the media to look away
This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

Lawmakers are allowed to go to a DOJ facility to search unredacted files. We learned from this photo that the searches are apparently being tracked & read by the DOJ"

Reminding everyone that colon cancer screening should begin at age 45 UNLESS a first degree relative (parent or sibling) was diagnosed with colon cancer before the age of 55. Then screening begins 10 YEARS before that person was diagnosed
he was auctioning off memorabilia in order to try and afford treatment and now he's gone. fuck cancer for sure, but double fuck our broken healthcare system.

However much we hate Kennedy and the rest of the people cynically destroying public health, it is not enough. All of them should be purged from their position in society and die penniless denied the medicine they use for themselves but fear monger about in public.
A friend of ours was able to be a test subject for an mRNA vaccine for an aggressive form of breast cancer. Completely worked. It is one of the greatest miracles of science and like 40% of the country turned it into The Jab because they are mushheaded simpletons.

10 years ago they told us AI and self-driving cars were going to wipe out up to half of all jobs. They didn’t.

But while everyone was talking about whether they would, companies rolled out algorithmic management and used digital tech as a pretext to reclassify workers as contractors.
I'm not even saying that's the most *likely* possibility, but it's just very clear that the likelihood of that outcome as increased and even if there's, like, a 1 in 10 change that "AI replaces most to all white collar jobs in 10 years" that's an *enormous* risk to the social order!

Read this lede and remember how much taxpayer money of yours Chuck gave ICE and they're trying to do it again. He's the worst poker player in history and yet he has convinced a fair amount of people who appear to be intelligent that he still knows what he is doing
Court battle over surveillance footage at the Broadview ICE detention center reaches new levels of kafkaesque absurdity: The DOJ claimed it *couldn't afford* hard drives to put video footage on. Plaintiffs bought THE US GOVERNMENT hard drives. ICE "lost" them.

Pam Bondi has nothing more to say about why she hired a Jan. 6 insurrectionist who was indicted on multiple charges and yelled for the killing of police officers defending the Capitol
NEGUSE: AG Bondi, that man works for you now, right? The man in that video from J6 yelling 'kill them!' at cops. His name is Jared Wise.

BONDI: He does work for us, yes. I believe he was pardoned

NEW: Arkansas bars public officials who've been appointed by the governor to seek a full term for their position.

The 2 justices appointed by Governor Sanders are using a way around that — they're just running for each other's seats.

I wrote on Arkansas' supreme court races coming up in March:
Conservatives Play Musical Chairs to “Cement” Majority on Arkansas High Court - Bolts
How seat-switching, plus a new state law, is helping gubernatorial appointees reap the benefits of incumbency before they’ve earned it from voters.

Investigators say one immigration official abused his girlfriend for years. Another admitted he sexually abused a woman in his custody.
