The brain is basically electrified mince and mine's short circuiting.
One of the advantages of being sick as a dog, is that I get The Big Bed all to myself as nobody wants to catch what I'm cooking

Die Hard's a good film, but the levels of cult-like behaviour it induces, baffles me.

It's not controversial to say it's a Christmas movie any more - champion another underrated Xmas classic, like Lethal Weapon

I genuinely wonder why I've never said this in an interview before. If the market doesn't pan out and I have to get interviews for UC, I might just try this one.
"Money" is a perfectly valid response to "why do you want this job?". Sick of interviewers expecting me to act like I've dreamt of working at Morrisons since I was a child.

If my Fallout 1 experience is anything to go by, I would not be able to beat up a rat
I bet Jake Paul would have said yes, he could beat a grizzly.

Got MiniAd's school report and it uses they/them pronouns for him, which is really distracting, given that those aren't his preferred pronouns

Last big shopping day before Christmas.

I'm praying we can have a good day, even in spite of me feeling like Squidgy Bog off Wizbit

I don't think streaming should count towards the Christmas number 1 - it's far too easy to game the system.

I genuinely don't get Walliams - every panel show he's on, he's rude, insulting and obnoxious but everyone's laughing.

Am I the only one that doesn't get the joke?

Please a game where there's always an options to say "fuck you and the horse you rode in on"
Please…. I’m begging you… if your game has a dialogue choice… and all the answers say the same thing in a different way…. You can just remove the dialogue choice……

What if you did a mash up of Carol of the Bells with the Terminator theme, thought Allen Grey

One of the worst things about all this is that you just know the Democrats aren't going to revert any of the names back.
The orange felon is moving to rename the Kennedy Center after himself in another move to both attack the Arts and insult President John F. Kennedy.

I truly from the depths of my soul hate this evil sadistic scumbag. If only he had been sent to jail where he belongs.

Listening to Elder (prog-rock soundscapes) and at 2:31 in Illusory Motion there's a lick that absolutely knocked my socks off so hard I have to get a train to retrieve them. You can't skip to it, you've got to enjoy the buildup. It's just 😘👌

I would like a streaming service where I can put on an artist's debut album and listen through to their most recent stuff without having to spend ages making my own playlist. Make singles & EPs optional with a checkbox
Spotify is the only streaming service that lets you listen to a song three times in a row. I understand a lot of people have problems with their business style, but as a music fan, that’s an essential feature for me.

Well I heard there was a secret gift
That you snuck a peek and slightly ripped
But you don't really like surprises do ya?
Your mum got pissed your dad did too
And now you're crying on the loo
Because the presents all went back to Santa
Back to Santa,
Back to Santa...

Etc
I've loved the song for a long time but am baffled why people have come to believe it is a christmas song. Probably because some christian band rewrote the lyrics as a christmas inspired song. Pentatonix at least used the original lyrics as interpreted by John Cale.

You know what minor thing, that doesn't impact anything, infuriates me? When you enter something into a text box of a website, like a postcode, and as soon as you put in the first character, the box is highlighted red and red text underneath appears saying
PLEASE ENTER A VALID POSTCODE

Listening to Blodwyn Pig and it's amazing - there's hints of Jethro Tull, Free and a heavy sprinkling of Gong

I don't care if it's funny or humourous, posting ai slop gets a block, especially if it is a chicken shaped chicken nugget shitting already-fried chicken nuggets into a deep fat fryer

Wait, we changed gaol to jail because of the Yanks?
Do you have sources for what you're claiming? There is a multitude of things written about Webster's campaign to distinguish American from British English and none, as far as I can find, that mention Spanish being his fundamental influence. For example, here from the National Museum of Language:
Noah Webster – The National Museum of Language
Noah Webster The First American Lexicographer More than any other early American, Noah Webster influenced the direction and force of American English. By doing that, he had a great influence on the wa...
