If we believe DHS’s numbers, ICE spent three months in Minnesota and arrested just over one person per agent in that time.

The Minneapolis resistance worked. And let the momentum lead to abolishing ICE altogether.
Believe that they're really ending the surge in Minnesota when people on the ground say it's happened but also *even* if this is nothing but more face saving, it's a huge acknowledgement that they know they're losing and that the people of Minnesota are never going to stop protecting their neighbors

My dad liked to take me to offbeat movies. Together, we saw Conan the Barbarian (1982), Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978), Buckaroo Banzai (1984) and (because we'd both loved the original serials) Flash Gordon (1980) in their first runs.
Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)

Co fucking signed. Tear it out by the root
I’m asking ICE to curl up and die like a salted slug.

I’m asking for everyone who directed them to spend the rest of their natural lives in prison.

And I’m asking for every quisling Democrat to walk the earth with ceaseless and unavoidable scorn.

Those are my demands.
Our DHS reform demands are exceedingly reasonable.

We're asking ICE to do nothing more than follow the standards that the vast majority of law enforcement agencies already follow.

Republicans, the ball is in your court. The clock is ticking.

This is what we need
I will not support any funding deal that puts money in the hands of Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and this violent agency. Defund and abolish ICE now.

We should have known by the evil animatronics, but the blindside by LifeTouch is so frightening because it's so insidious
So I think everyone knows what Chuck E. Cheese is but for non-parents who don't know what LifeTouch is, it's the company that for decades has had a near-monopoly on school pictures.
Finding out that top execs from both LifeTouch and Chuck E. Cheese are in the Epstein files has pissed me off in a way that I didn’t think was still possible.

Impeach, impeach, and impeach again. whatever it takes
Rep Raskin reports he reviewed the full unredacted Epstein Files & Trump's name appears MORE THAN A MILLION TIMES.

We knew of 38K times—meaning we know of only ~3% of Trump's involvement with a convicted child sexual abuser & sex trafficker.

Anyone still unwilling to impeach & remove is complicit.

Neither churches nor drug makers should be able to advertise, for startlingly similar reasons, but at least drug companies are mandated to disclose side effects
i don't think christians should be allowed to vibe advertise in commercial breaks like they're selling coca cola. no more shots of the night sky and vague cursive text about finding purpose. show your weird-ass mega pastor asking for money and telling people cholera is caused by loose morals

ICE must be destroyed
NEW: A baby held in immigration detention became so sick, she had to be rushed to a hospital in severe respiratory distress.

“She was at the brink of dying,” a lawyer told me.

But the girl didn’t go home after her 10-day hospital stay; instead, ICE put her and her mother back in lock up at Dilley.
Toddler hospitalized with respiratory failure was returned to ICE detention without prescribed medication, lawsuit says
The 18-month-old was sent back to a South Texas facility after days in intensive care with severe respiratory distress, according to a federal lawsuit.

"You made the libs angry--ALL OF THEM" is one of the great cosmic horror stories of modern history, replayed again & again & again.

You can make some of the libs angry all of the time, and all of the libs angry some of the time. But if you make all the libs angry all at once, make peace w/ ur God.
Antebellum northerners never *liked* southern slavery, but they didn’t get angry enough to destroy it until it sent armies and spies into their cities to serve as kidnappers

Holy shit, there's an open carry #2A protest of ICE happening in Douglas County Colorado -- a very wealthy and very red suburb county of Denver. (I lived there for 16 years.) The Trump Administration pissing off committed gun owners sufficiently for them to join the protests against ICE is wild.
