jack asked if i would sketch up a poster to tell people in nearby neighborhoods about the partnership between flock and ring, and this is what i came up with. it can be printed on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper.

Respectfully, I am going to whisper to some of our white comrades a truth that should be more widely known: You definitely have some ancestors to be proud of, ancestors who refused white supremacy, and poured out their lives in many of these struggles over time.

Time to claim your true history.

Full time daycare for 2 under 2 will run us about $35k a year in a LCOL city. It’s DOUBLE our mortgage payment. Brian is spot on.
This isn't housing policy per se, but in a city where infant care averages $26k a year, universal child care would function as a massive, de facto housing subsidy—freeing up roughly $2,100 a month for rent.

More politicians need to grasp this: when it comes to "affordability," it's all connected.
Why universal child care is closer than ever in New York
One of Zohran Mamdani’s most expensive ideas has surprising early momentum.

ICE officers are publicly stating that Renee Good was killed not because an officer was threatened but because they were made at her for not instantly following every order issued.

The new ICE threat to protestors is:

"Have you not learned? This is why we killed that lesbian bitch."
“We Killed That Lesbian B*tch”: ICE Uses Renee Good’s Death as Threat
Protesters are recounting federal agents using Good’s death to warn them off.

I’ve been thinking about this often lately. It really feels like our government is waging war on us. Unless you fall in line -as a white citizen- you’re treated like an enemy combatant.
The thing that really makes Minneapolis different, other than the fact that they straight up murdered someone, is that they've dropped all pretense that this is just about immigration. The state has declared war on its own people, or at least those people who live in cities.

the problem with an untrained secret police squad that shoots people in their cars isn’t that they’re untrained

I've been telling people that the reason this is happening in no small part is because they see urban white Minnesotans as race traitors. For having a semi-integrated society at all, but also for 2020.

Call 1 (800) 440-0680 to contact Target corporate & demand they protect their employees & keep ICE out of stores. Choose options for “in store experience” & then “safety/security.” I was able to reach a rep who was very sympathetic to my comments.
From a good friend in Minneapolis: "Target is allowing ICE to stage in their parking lots, use their restrooms, and abduct people from inside their stores - so if you weren’t boycotting already, now is the time." They were staging in Chicago as well.

Patty, a woman observer in Minneapolis, was abducted from a car by federal agents today. She was released and talked about her experience in custody.

An agent said, "You guys gotta stop obstructing us. That's why that lesbian bitch is dead."

Welcome to Minnesota, fuckers. Also this is super disturbing because the ICE agent's assault rifle appears to fire as he falls down.

This was filmed by a friend near Chicago and Lake last night.

This morning in Minneapolis, an ICE vehicle got stuck on an icy hill in a residential neighborhood. Agents had to push the vehicles out, some almost slipping in the ice themselves.
