What too many people don't realize about SNAP and ACA govt money, is that it acts the way farm subsidies do.
It brings money into local infrastructures of food distribution (grocery stores) & medical care (drs, clinics, hosp'ls, etc). These businesses need that income to run and keep prices down.

After years of work to get them to trust law enforcement, immigrants are now afraid to report crime as victim or to cooperate as witnesses or to go to court at all.
This makes them targets, increases crime, makes convicting criminals tougher and makes us all less safe.
