The next person I hear complain about poor people buying junk food is going to get an earful from me. I just visited the grocery store (one with good prices) and spent a ridiculous amount of money buying healthy food (none of which was meat). The junk food is cheaper and lasts longer.

Total bs. What did they think would happen to the survivors hanging on to the wreckage when the Navy obliterated it? I am pretty sure they are legally obligated to try to help people floating in the freakin water.

With all the hullabaloo over the Democratic members of Congress who reminded military members that they can and should refuse illegal orders, the Epstein files have somewhat faded from our attention—and the media’s. That was probably Trump’s goal. We owe it to the victims not to forget.

Just because we can doesn’t mean we should. What happens to our society when all the white collar jobs are replaced with AI? Are we all forced to pick produce for minimum wage? Who will buy the services provided by AI? Have the oligarchs thought this out?
