Had a white South African flatmate at one point and he paid for a cleaner himself rather than contribute to the cleaning, kept talking longingly about all the 'domestics' he used to have when he was younger and eventually left to go back.
See also: White Afrikaaner 'refugees' struggling to adjust to life in the States because they're expected to actually work for a living and are struggling to a domestic life without an underclass of housemaids and manservants.
