“One of the things that I don’t think is getting talked enough about outside of Minnesota,” she said after a pause, “is how much this feels like ethnic cleansing. People are so afraid to go out and participate in public life regardless of their citizenship status. This isn’t about immigration.”

1) Countries have to pay a billion dollars each to join the Board of Peace. Where is that money going?

2) Europe. You have our permission to do what you need to do. Stop placating.

"Mark Ruffalo could sat whatever he wants against Trump...But if an actor like me dares to support an administration that is bigoted and racist and homophobic and transphobic and hateful, that's it. I'm out of Hollywood."

There. Fixed it.

The Coast Guard reversed its 'swastikas aren't all that bad' policy just hours after the Washpost broke the story.

It's both surprising, and good, to see that one government agency these days is capable of being embarrassed, and changing course quickly.

In reversal, Coast Guard again classifies swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The new order came hours after The Post reported the service would instead classify such symbols as “potentially divisive” under guidelines set for release next month.

Choir, let me share a thought with you.

If justice for child rapists disrupts society, then society needed to be disrupted.

Oh, he's a job creator? Oh, the economy will suffer? Oh, the uncertainty? Oh, our whole political system?

If it's built on raping children, burn it all the fuck down.

Amen.

I've given my new Senator a lot of shit on here. But I don't think anyone with power has laid out the stakes of what we're facing as clearly as she does right here.

And if she's saying this, it's because she feels she must.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

I've noticed NPR doing this over the last couple of weeks. They seem to be moving into the "both sides" portion of the show.
