The thing is, people just don’t say they dislike something, they go into some inflammatory language to convey they dislike it. If someone just said, “I don’t like compact cars”, someone might ask why but that’ll be it. If someone goes, “why yall keep driving those lil hot wheels”, folks gonna react
I wish we could renormalize being able to simply dislike a thing without having to prove your dislike is due to a massive flaw in the thing. You can just not like it. It doesn't have to be due to a pile of discourse.

Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
How many times do we have to do a Scooby Doo reveal to show white ppl that the “artificial intelligence” behind a product is an underpaid HUMAN in the global south? Hiding evidence of human labor doesn’t mean it isn’t there or necessary.
I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

The mutha fucka said he envisions a day where we won’t need jobs or money and no one, and I mean no one, laughed him off the planet. Instead, they wrote articles about it.

Also, can y’all come over to Threads? I don’t like the Bluesky UI, which is why I’m never here, but I’m over on Threads with the generationally stupid and clinically insane. Please.

The one good thing I’ll say about Threads is that pictures show up CRYSTAL clear on there. Outside of that, the place is butt.
Some of the 2026 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame finalists: ◻️ Candace Parker ◻️ Team USA’s 1996 "Women’s Dream Team" ◻️ Doc Rivers ◻️ Blake Griffin ◻️ Amar’e Stoudemire ◻️ Elena Delle Donne ◻️ Chamique Holdsclaw ◻️ and more
I would like to go further. There are really only two types of people: 1) those who work for money and 2) those whose money work for them. And if you have to work to provide and pay bills, you’re in group one and should ALWAYS stand in solidarity with the working class.
If you're Black in America and not making north of $100,000 (and have kids and/or own a home), you're essentially working class. I don't like the word "broke." Poor is more apt, I prefer working class because circumstances can change, but you'll never be considered "rich" -- it's tough.

And it's levels to corny. Like...do you tell dad jokes that are so bad they're good? Or do you dress like you always about to go fishing? And even then you can still have a level of charisma to make it forgiveable.
Or so I heard.

Exactly. It's not a death sentence. You can be a cool dude and also be corny. It happens.
I think it's because people keep making corny an insult, when it's really just a descriptor. A dude calling himself "Mr. Unlimited" AND is a QB is gonna be corny. There's nothing wrong with it
