I’m more a chatter-with & connector-of people than a poster. I’ll remember years later that you once said you like pancakes & tag you in a recipe I just found.

Those in power care more about the (theoretical) potential of selfhood of a machine than about the actual selfhood of the people around them.

All the while, tech bros continue to make their millions, people continue to suffer, and we all become a little less human in each other’s eyes.

I was just thinking to myself how happy eggs make me, so I looked it up and it turns out that they DO make me happy, mostly cos they're high in tryptophan, which is a precursor to serotonin, but generally cos they're a good source of protein.

I had to delete 5Gb of Chive Bunny videos in order to update my OS. They were the clips where she looked like she *might* flopse or binky but didn’t. But she still looked so adorable! Here is two minutes of her chomping a strand of oats. Volume up: very soothing watch.

Hi @hannahsbee.bsky.social,

There will come a time when you will have to face up to what you've done because of this era of anti-trans hysteria.

Per an FOI request, Pogust Goodhead have ZERO cases against Tavistock, when 1000 were claimed three years ago.

The real Tavistock Clinic scandal: 1,000 court cases that never materialised
A FoI request for the data behind the media hysteria over the Tavistock Clinic presents quite a different picture

I'm not sure if the reporters interviewing Anthropic's philosopher stunt hire understand either philosophy or AI. But they sure do like taking the bait to publish humanising euphemisms as fact.

So, Dubliners, prepare for no rain from the weekend on. I say this because I have spent money on a pair of waterproof walking shoes. Based on previous experience of my investments to secure my safety and wellbeing (see my ice cleats, for example), it is very likely that it will never rain again.

It's VERY male coded. Full offence guys.

It takes data and makes a whole lot of assumptions. It doesn't clearly outline what assumptions it's made, or where it is missing information. It makes a best guess decision.

Then it assures you it has everything it needs to do it perfectly.
