Irish Mammy, wife, rugby, lefty, LGBT+ she/her Politics without empathy is just greedy capitalism. A bee isn't going to waste time trying to convince a fly that honey is sweeter than shite...

We truly live in a capitalist world of greed and self centred politics.

It baffles me how many people can't see beyond their own self interests.
Lol, so accurate.

The right wing people never question them, so they're good. The left question them and that makes us as bad as people lighting buildings on fire and shooting fireworks into people's faces at protests.
It's just baffling centrist logic.

I don't care what grief I get for this, but every single centrist is a right wing apologist. Every last one.

They're just the people that try to dress up nice and speak well, but they hold the same beliefs, rooted in the same insecurities.
It's entitled Izzy. How dare us gays expect things like rights and to feel safe and included in society.

Utterly batshit, but this is centrist logic.

And god forbid if the person asking has blue hair....
Jesus SiobhΓ‘n, you're clearly a danger to everyone around you. Nobody is safe in your presence. Next we'll hear you said "piss off" to racists.

Have you no shame?
Correct.

One must listen to the violent people, one must never condemn the violence.

Unless a left wing person does the violence. Punching Nazis is bold apparently.
How many Israeli's supposedly died when "Hamas broke the cease fire"?

Israel is just letting the dogs out to roam every few days. The IDF has an insatiable thirst to kill now.
Maybe carers and people with disabilities should all start to burn some buildings down, they might actually be heard for once...
The reality is, when we demand basic respect, decency, fairness we get chastised for not asking nicely enough and ignored.

When they burn down buildings, assault people and engage in domestic terrorism, we're told we should listen to them, or that we're just as bad as each other
Izzy that's a great piece.

The fox and the hunter....perfect analogy
The Amazon layoffs where some yoke uses phrases like "reductions", "reducing bureaucracy" and "removing layers"...

Bitch, you're fucking firing people and putting them on the bread line to maximise shareholder profits.

It's corporate greed, don't pretend it's "streamlining" or any other bullshit.
Yep, all about profiteering, nothing about quality of life or a healthy and functional society.
He doesn't know he's in a silent battle with you. Speak to him.

I will not vote for any party that doesn’t firmly and unequivocally commit to building universal social housing by a state agency. If your party’s housing plan involves tinkering around the edges of planning/incentives/regulations or relies on developers or β€œthe market”, you won’t get a vote from me
It's all about will.

The politicians do not have the will nor the desire to suddenly increase the amount of homes available to rent and buy, because doing so decreases their equity in their own homes and the rent the can demand.

So they pretend it's hard to build homes.

I think you can see the evident disgust on the part of much of the Irish political and media establishment and calls for "something to change" in the presidential election process as a desire to essentially discipline the electorate for how it voted
How does one manage to be so damn accurate all the time? She's clearly some sort of snappy savant.
When I was in the US, every piece of paper or email correspondence, basically anyone contacting me that couldn't see it hear me first, started their communication with "Dear Sir" or "Mr Ailbhe"...

Having "she/her" is literally helpful information.
I, a notoriously bad baker, successfully baked a themed thing. And it was actually nice...
Those poor cishet men down in Cork.

It must have been utterly harrowing for them to see other men in clothes they didn't want them wearing.

They had to resort to violence, because if they hadn't, their masculinity would have evaporated into thin air.

It's so hard being a cishet man...
Left?! LEFT?! I've two feet, and both of them are further left than Aontu
The reality is, they feel threatened by everyone, by especially brown and black men, and they want them away from white women.

Why? Because white women are for white men to abuse only.
