i sold 2 books this month and one was a paperback of CONSORT AND I to someone in germany!! 😱 it's so interesting to think about how far from home our stories can travel. especially as a physical copy! surreal.

Merion and Nym (the latter of whom I need to get it together and finish drawing) both have undifferentiated fur styled into manes. Yhana’s is differentiated and silkier than the rest of her coat, more closely resembling humanlike styles.
Ignore the eyepatch for now, that’ll *eventually* be accurate.

Hair is SO important in TCC. Narok’s hair changes a lot over the course of the series. His natural hair is red-brown, but he glamours it blond for multiple reasons.
In his 20s, he has it shoulder length, but in his 30s/40s, he lets it grow really long and shaves the sides.
