What if — hear me out — instead of hiring a person to only plow in front of a single business, we hired them to go down the entire block….and the next…and the next…

We could even have a small fleet to cover whole swaths of the city. #PlowTheSidewalks
But *how* will they #PlowTheSidewalks? With what technology?

Had to leave Wisconsin at 7am, but thats nothing compared to driving through whatever this is now.
we only saw 6.5 cars spun out, and all of that was south of Milwaukee.

Stay safe out there.

Device…hoarding. Because you don’t go get a new one while yours is still fine.

Apparently I am also practicing car hoarding, house hoarding, husband hoarding, dog hoarding, computer hoarding, furniture hoarding and art hoarding.
stupid young people, stop buying a new phone every year if you don't want to be broke. wait no, not like that.

~1 yr ago we sent a Giving Tuesday email to our tiny mailing list shortly after starting our own publication.

In the time since, we have been overwhelmed by how many of you find our work worth supporting.

No email this time around. But if you'd like to support indie media today, here's how:

The radio at the gym was hitting a Millenial Mood:
2PAC "California Lovin" followed by Brittany Spears "Sometimes"
The women in the changing room with me all went thru the same three emotions when Brittany came on:
Confusion - "is this..?"
Amusement - "oh my god its"
Nostalgia - "🎶Sometimes I run.."

as always, take everything dhs says with a grain of salt. but it sounds like the feds’ terror in chicago is far from over.

When we host our tree trimming, we always have mulled apple cider, with rum and whiskey on the side for folks to spike as they see fit. And that was when Matt and I both were drinkers.
I do not drink because I have almost no tolerance for it anymore (one margarita is too much).

If you are hosting a party, I recommend also stocking:
-fancy ginger beer
-coconut water
-premium juices like lychee and guava
-apple cider with cinnamon
-Italian sodas
-sparkling water

Lots of options!

Gladhanding fascists is a useful skill, I guess, but this is exactly why even people who believe in the current system shouldn't stan politicians.

Their main skill is saying what their audience wants to hear and making them believe it. That includes their opponents, and it includes you.

If you want to avoid shopping episodes in your TTRPG, stop rewarding your players with coin.
What else is a girl supposed to do with all of this loot?
Its more interesting to find magic items, and its fun to make up magic items.
I fully do not understand people who enjoy shopping in TTRPGs. I can go shopping in real life. The mall is right there and I have the entire internet on my phone. Why would I also go shopping in a fictional world? That's a chore! I don't want chores, I want adventure and drama.

#BREAKING The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a short-term administrative stay of the order from U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Cummings that aimed to release as many as 615 people detained by ICE.

That means their release is on hold.

Oral arguments 12/2.
