1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵

In a democracy, we are supposed to feel like we have control over our lives because the people control the government.

But in the U.S., people feel like our lives are out of control because the people don’t control the federal government.

Norway, UK, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Australia, North Macedinia, Turkey, Poland.

Conspicuously absent is the United States, the epicenter of this scandal.

We know why.

The Winter Olympics start today, and we will feel pride and honor for our country.

But when we see our criminal, delusional, President, we feel none of those things.

I’ve faced off with him before, and now I’m ready to take him on in Congress.

someone in his position of power should know that depicting black people as a monkey is wrong. It doesn’t matter if it’s the lion king or not. They know exactly what they’re doing. And her comment is so stupid. Trump posted this, why doesn’t he report on something that actually matters to 🇺🇸 people?

One lesson from the Epstein–Mandelson affair is that we need to stop routinely rehabilitating political careers after serious scandals.

When politicians knowingly engage in grave ethical wrongdoing, that should permanently end their political careers. Being "talented" should not override that.
