You can’t just talk about how the police should be better. You have to defund the police. You can’t just say that you hope nobody will ever pick up one of the loaded guns you have laying around. You have to get rid of them. Excellent @hamiltonnolan.bsky.social

Pastor: I said to this ICE agent, 'Take me, stop harassing her.' The agent got in my face, pointed a gun at me, and said, 'Are you afraid now?' To which I said, 'I am not afraid.'

What strikes me about S Wiles is the realization of how much the normal GOP of yore was driven by hatred and a yen for destruction. She seems, ideologically, as like a standard operative of the old school & she’s fine with this because it’s tearing govt down. Banality of evil encore une fois

Shopping freeze at Home Depot in Manhattan this afternoon in protest against the company allowing ICE to stage & target people seeking work at Home Depots across the country.

An estimated 300 activists purchased & returned ice scrapers, copying activists in Los Angeles. Ended with a rally outside.

Sam Altman sees way too much of us already
China makes 70% of the world’s drones. Blake Resnick wants to change that. Backed by Sam Altman and Peter Thiel, the Brinc founder is on his way to making his quadcopters the top choice for America’s cops—if only he can get the federal government to ban his primary competitor.

While I’m glad Commissioner Tisch let Ricky Patel (Special Agent in Charge at HSI) know that she’s not happy with their raids, I’m disturbed by footage of NYPD officers clearing the way for ICE vehicles. It’s a violation of our sanctuary city law to facilitate deportations.

Spanberger wins men 18-29 by 14%, Sherrill by 10%, and Mamdani by a stunning 40%.

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.
