Fan of voting, common sense and Kenny Rogers. Nihilism and horseshoe thinking doesn't accomplish anything. It's mocked here. Tax the churches - yes, that one, too.

Every single Republican senator voted down Tammy Baldwin's amendment to cover the subsidies for a year.

Every Democrat and both Indys voted for the amendment.

All of us should talk about this non-stop.
When Trump speaks, I get this vibe.

This is how someone responds to criticism of Bernie Sanders.
First: They don't understand that some people don't like Bernie Sanders' stances or actions. It has to be 'hate'.
Second: Listen, I like profanity, but...use your words.

The scurrilous team of Wohl and Burkman is back, washing on us like polluted sea water.
In April, Alina Habba, the U.S. attorney for New Jersey, extolled her office’s role in the sentencing of a former nursing home magnate to three years in prison for defrauding the government of $38 million. The man, Joseph Schwartz, was alleged to have overseen a “collapsed nursing home empire

Make these ICE thugs famous.
You absolutely have the constitutional right to record ICE, Border Patrol, or any law enforcement officer in public, and with everything happening in Charlotte right now, people need to understand that clearly.

I suppose next to an administration like Trump's, that is openly courting Russia, cutting SNAP, cutting ACA subsidies and zip tying children, Biden looks pretty calm.
Being ignored in that: Biden's do-nothing administration, which--again--everyone had hated since only a few months in, and Harris refusing to differentiate herself from it. Both very much problems with the Democrats.
bsky.app/profile/mich...
Harris didn't need time to develop her message. Her message was "Trump is absolutely unacceptable, and I am the alternative, and I am qualified." Anybody who had a problem with that message, the problem was with them, not with Harris, not with Biden, and not with the Democratic Party as a whole.

If this account had a critique, it would be delivered here.
No, most of them aren't ignoring those things; they're just offering an evaluation of Harris' awful campaign--the one she actually run, which isn't really the one you describe.
Every person who says 'Harris was a terrible candidate' not only ignored her commitment to democracy, Ukraine, the ACA, but also reproductive rights and decency.

But a Republican operative like Eric Owens isn't going to look at an Insurrectionist who sold out Ukraine and see problems.

Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl are back, lobbying Trump to pardon other frauds like Joseph Schwartz, nursing home fraud guy.

The battle to preserve the ACA subsidies is not over. Don't listen to doomers and Dem bashers. Call Republicans!
(And call Fetterman, even though he sucks )
Mike Johnson is big mad that we forced through a petition and forced a vote on releasing the Epstein files.

So let’s do it again. This time to restore the ACA credits he stole from us:

"Catch and roadkill" operations is RIGHT THERE
well, I read it, and the salient, non-gross part is Lizza alleging, midsentence and without elaboration, that Nuzzi ran numerous “catch-and-kill operations” on RFK’s behalf, which would give her a role in both his appointment and the untold preventable deaths he has abetted in office. Cool.

I would like 'progressives' to direct ten percent of their hatred for Chuck Schumer towards Chuck Grassley, who is involved up to his 92 year old eyebrows in January 6th and should be treated accordingly.
Perhaps rather than demanding hundreds of thousands of dollars, the senators could simply apologize to the nation for violating their oaths of office and lending rhetorical support to criminal conspiracies to overturn a free and fair election.

We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.
