I'm in fundraising. One, you don't announce the names of donors to gossip trash like Nuzzi. Two, people forget names. It happens. Usually, the fundraising staff handles that.

I used to read NY Magazine, back before its political writers started embracing transphobia and charter schools. Nuzzi 's creeping Birtherism and broken windows theorizing might have been controversial, but a bigger problem was that she wasn't a very good writer unless you wanted MoDo lite.
