Boston is a strange city. In many cases, progressive. In others, regressive.

One Boston baseball team integrated in 1950. The one that survived was the last to do so, in 1959. Their hockey team had a black player before that, in 1958. Their basketball team had the first black head coach, in 1966.

I am not a Mainer, but as an American, I know that age is not the problem, ideology is.

I would take Joe Biden, at age 82, for any public office over a still-living 32-year-old Charlie Kirk, because Biden is a good person, and Kirk, to put it as politely as possible, was a horrible person.
