I don't think I've ever encountered AI use more egregious than today. I was having a friendly debate about the future of AI cyberattacks with Rob Joyce (ex NSA director of cybersecurity and White House NatSec Advisor), so someone I have massive respect for and like to have challenge my views. 1/2

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

We think he's around 6mo old and he is simply too well behaved, socialized/friendly, and in too good condition to not have been taken care of by people. Found in the southeast area, near Dutchman Creek. We're getting him checked for a chip!

A fun project I worked on in my early career was tracking DDoS attacks. A lot of DDoS attacks come from infected IoT devices. But most IoT devices use ramdisks, meaning any modifications to the main filesystem gets erased upon reboot, removing the malware along with it. 1/?
