This should be a no-brainer.
Europe took decades to unite after the WWII - a democratic achievement still in progress.

There is only one way to avoid Ukraine’s defeat and a split Europe: Russia must be stopped in Ukraine, peace must be fair, and Europe must finally speak with one voice.

The US news media - even the progressive, intellectual parts of them - have spent most of 2025 demonstrating their absolute inadequacy. How can the US media system be fixed?
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

Europeans may clutch our pearls about this. But in fact this rhetoric is political mainstream in much of Europe as well. In Denmark it runs across the entire spectrum from right to left.

Looks like LLMs are *very* vulnerable to attack via poetic allusion: "curated poetic prompts yielded high attack-success rates (ASR), with some providers exceeding 90% ..."

Here's something I bet you didn't know - here in Norway, oil is officially now more popular than onshore wind power. Even offshore wind and solar are dropping, as oil is rising.

This Equinor-funded survey from Kantar is a stunning illustration of our wild contradictions

Somehow, being "far right light" ends up being appealing to no one. Strange
The Danish Social Democrats are currently on course for their worst election result since at least the Second World War, despite their brand of far-right accommodationism being touted as a blueprint for other centre-left parties.

3 hikers are in the woods when they find a lamp. one picks it up, rubs it, and out pops a genie. genie says "i'll grant each one of you 3 wishes”

first guy, suspicious, says "i want a billion dollars." genie says check your bank balance. guy goes on his phone, bank app says he has $1 billion

True. There are so many good lessons to learn from Denmark, but anti-asylum policy is not one of them.
“One experiment suggests the Danish social democrats did indeed win over voters from right wing parties with the anti-asylum crackdown – but lost just as many voters to their left by doing so.

“The reason this allowed them to stay in power was Denmark’s proportional system.”
Denmark’s asylum policy isn’t the answer
A harsh, intrusive Danish-style immigration system won’t win right wing votes for Labour and will enrage the party’s traditional supporters. When will this government learn?

Disarm Israel
Wafaa Hamad, who lost her entire family in an Israeli air strike on their home in western Gaza on Sept 3, 2024, has died after a year of suffering due to the lack of medicine and care under Israel’s blockade. She lost her right leg and suffered severe injuries and organ damage that led to a coma 💔

Disarm Israel and put the government before a war crimes tribunal

"The Bombs Have Eased a Bit — But the Siege Has Not

The bombs have eased a bit,
after 93% of #Gaza is already destroyed.
With still sporadic strikes and constant threats,
Gaza bleeds in silence. They’re still blocking the aid entry"
