I dislike bio’s, really.

I’m a late 40 year old female with a 24-year-old daughter. We have two dogs, two cats, one guinea pig.

I live in the UK. The England part. I enjoy commenting on U.K. and U.S politics.

Warning: Sarcastic sense of humour.

Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.

I sort of feel sorry for Martin, who talked a huge game about fantasy and other people’s world-building, but who has embarked on what is visibly a project too ambitious for anyone to actually ever finish.

George R.R. Martin has said that if he never completes Game of Thrones sequel Winds of Winter (or the book after that), there's no plan for anyone else to step in. Instead, his Song of Ice and Fire series simply "won't be finished."

A blanket ban on puberty blockers, with a medical trial the only way to access them for young people, still isn’t enough for those who are ideologically opposed to the very existence of trans people and want the trial stopped.

Nothing ever will be.

Yes, they got the Brexit they voted for.

They got the only Brexit available.

The failure is Brexit. Brexit is a failure.
I don’t think we’ve got the Brexit people voted for. Our traders face a daily nightmare getting goods across the border.

Here’s one example of just why. Toby Ovens of Broughton Transport told us about the 26 stamps he needs on loads of forms. To move one trailer across the Channel…

What? The AI companies have misrepresented what they're doing and how it was done? That's unpossible!
GenAI companies keep claiming the books and copyrighted works their programed were "trained" on without permission didn't retain complete copies in their systems. This was a lie.

These companies may now face for even more liability for violating copyrights. 1/
