Yeah, I didn’t mean to piss on your proverbial chips. They attempted to take court action against me in 2000 for undelivered items. Turned out my postie was stashing them in his spare room, but it peeved me so much I’ll do anything to avoid them. Or cost them money.

Maybe. I think they’re just awful as a company and as much as it’s possible to do I go elsewhere (although some companies only sell via them for fulfilment, so 🤷🏼‍♂️)

I bet these prices encourage flippers on the ‘Cogs site, too.

This morning's madness. Paid import duties upfront on a parcel to The Netherlands. Now have to phone The Netherlands to get a receipt because UPS cannot do it from the UK. It took talking to six people to get this information.

A receipt! It should be emailed as standard in 2025.

I don’t want to jinx it, but all but three of those I sent on Thursday have cleared customs and/or been delivered. US has one to do (LA), plus Australia and Denmark.

Weirdly, the one that’s nearest to me (for @jojobroom.bsky.social) is the most delayed - although maybe hasn’t been scanned locally.
