I heard this song a few days ago.

Tonight, I’m going to a volunteer appreciation pizza party.

I feel like I’m watching a video of two objects about to crash into each other in slow motion.
sometimes a masterpiece is too good to wait. from the upcoming show Strip Law, I give you the song "Pizza Party"

(a song written for a scene where i was just like lets have some fun pizza party music and then composer Casey Trela went Mozart-level hard)

Having a cozy cup of @fridaytea.com’s lovely, LotR-inspired Merry Fellow, and ruminating on my disdain for Tech Bros who appropriate Tolkien’s language without understanding his heart. (Give us our cool words back, assholes.)

What if I approached life with an attitude of Joy and Love, instead of Dread and Anxiety? 🤔

It’s a Thanksgiving miracle! (Not really, but I was getting a little nervous.) My @white2tea.bsky.social Shulloween bag has finally arrived! I was not prepared for how large it is, it smells AMAZING, and I want to jump in it and swim around, Scrooge McDuck style.

Solo’s arch nemesis (the street sweeper) has driven by five times today, and he would like to speak to the manager about all this ruckus.

Sitting down to a relaxing cup of @fridaytea.com’s Harvest Spice; have been joined by this little bug friend. On the one hand: yay, cute bug! On the other hand, I’ve been reading @tkingfisher.com’s A House with Good Bones…and, well, iykyk.

One last little baby spider just showed up the arm of the couch, like it was asking me where its siblings went. Now settled outside on a leaf. 🥹

Giving the last of the baby jumping spiders a drink before they’re released in the wild. Luckily it’s still unusually mild outside.

Go out there and make mama proud, little spoods! 🥹🩷

Y’all.

The freaking ice cream truck just drove through my neighborhood.

It’s November 15th.

What is even happening?

Sometimes Tea Time isn’t gorgeous. Sometimes it’s on your dirty kitchen counter, in front of the microwave, next to a splatter of last night’s butternut squash soup. But it still feeds the soul.

Take care & drink tea, friends!

Best thing we can do individually to help hold back the despair and isolation of fascism is to make beautiful things and memories.

Fascism wants to collapse all potential futures even those that we hold interior to ourselves, so to fight it we must embrace ourselves, one another and art.

OMG you guys a jumping spider had babies in my window and now my side table is a baby jumping spider nursery. One the one hand: LOOK AT HOW CUTE AND TINY IT IS. 🥹 On the other hand, this is starting to push the limits of my recently overcome arachnophobia.

29 years ago in college, I auditioned for 2 solos in Britten’s Ceremony of Carols. I didn’t get either of them. Devastated, I tell you.

Last night, I auditioned for the same solos and got them both.

I promise I’m an emotionally mature adult. But 19yo me is all “How do you like me now, Dr. G-C?”

Oof. Very Good Advice has become my go-to panic attack recovery tea. And I’ve been having a lot of panic attacks (can’t imagine why)!

Time to stock up, I guess. Can I buy it by the bushel? 😬

So proud of my conservative little hometown! About 500 people lined Main Street, with tons of supportive honking and waving from passing cars. I usually head down to Vancouver or PDX for rallies/protests, so I was a little concerned what might happen out here…gives me hope!
