My limited experience echoes this. One example: IJ wouldn‘t let my client’s bond hearing go forward because I didn’t have his ID. I said he had it on him when he was arrested and that ICE must have it. ICE attorney told me ICE didn’t have it. Judge adjourned, we find out days later ICE had it!
