What the “Department of War” posted today is not normal. Publicizing an internal referral memo on social media before any review has occurred undercuts the neutrality expected in military justice and risks unlawful command influence. That should alarm anyone who cares about due process. #holdfast

Fairbanks! Gift cards are a way to help our neighbors buy the groceries THEY want & need. If you can, buy a Visa gift card at Safeway West and tell them it’s for the mutual aid gift card drive, then volunteers will get the cards to the Bread Line for distribution. ❤️

You enjoy a great amount of attention on @bsky.app and deservedly so. My posts are informative, insightful and engaging and yet I cannot entice my 400 followers to think anything I do is worth liking or commenting on. What is your secret?!

There is a very important distinction to be made between a red state in general and <progressives in red states who are putting in the work> and if you show up out of nowhere to talk shit about the latter, I’m very happy to block you.

Watching “The Great Escaper” on PBS, with Michael Caine as an aging WW2 vet. The flashback scenes are accompanied by period swing music.

In another 50 years we’ll be watching the same sort of movie, with a soundtrack of “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor”. 🤣

We need a term for politicians who mostly vote to please their major corporate and billionaire backers. My suggestion:

Coin-ops

"They are coin-op politicians, sitting still, waiting for McDonalds or Elon Musk to put in a coin so they can get to work."

"Vote all coin-ops OUT."

See? It works.
