Referring to LGBT+ people as "mentally ill" or "abnormal" is not "a discussion."
It's not "an opinion."
It's not "free speech."
It's not "debate."

It's hatemongering, with the clear and obvious intent to mark a minority out for subjugation, torture and violence.
I very much doubt this is true.

Streeting is admitting that the Pathways “trial” already has a predetermined outcome. Stuffing it with SEGM placeholders is evidence of this.

The only way we are going to end state-mandated torture of trans kids is to get Labour out of government completely.

To fix a problem that doesn't exist, British businesses now have to decide between getting sued by a local bigot funded by JK Rowling, or getting sued by a trans or GNC person and possibly ending up in front of the European Court of Human Rights. They must really love the Labour goverment right now.

Gaines never talks about her teammates who were raped by her coach that she supported.

Emily Maitlis admitting she worked at the bbc to try and get healthcare for trans people shut down

I listened to the first 3 episodes of BBC's "Anatomy of a Cancellation," and I don't know how the interviewer didn't laugh at Kate Clanchy when she said that "slanty eyes" wasn't in her book, it was "slantED, sparking, black eyes," so that was okay.
The podcast completely vindicates the criticisms.

Zohran Mamdani and Catherine Connolly's wins, along with the massive rise of the UK Greens after electing Zack Polanski demonstrate that you can be unapologetically pro-trans rights and get huge support.

The Leftists who claimed that trans people should be "pragmatically" abandoned were wrong.

The BBC are dragging up the whole Kate Clanchy affair, four years later, with a SIX part podcast.

There is no public interest reason for this, and they are just going to retraumatise the victims: the people who criticised Clanchy.

One of them has already started receiving hate mail again.

I'll call it here and now - those in the IPAS centre will face more "serious consequences" than those who attacked it.
The recent rhetoric of O'Callaghan, Harris et al has paved the way for this attack, but no-one in media or politics will call them out.
Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan has promised there will be "serious consequences" for those found responsible for the attack

Do you think that when creatives who were thought of as Leftists reveal themselves to be transphobic (and inevitably follow along with other conservative views), that they were always conservatives cosplaying as Leftists to appease their audience, or has something genuinely changed their thinking?
November 1, 2025 at 10:10 AM
A gay transphobe thinks that only other gay people can criticise him for his transphobia, and yet, he would also say that, as a cis person, his definition of transphobia should supersede trans people's definition.

Not sure why people like this are allowed on this platform? What benefit are they?

Did the Dublin marathon today in 3 hours 49 and 14 seconds. Delighted with that on a tough day. The Dublin crowds would restore your faith in humanity, especially for so many people to come out in the biting wind and rain. Think I spotted Catherine Connolly at the exit of the Phoenix park!

And, of course, after getting lots of critical comments for taking a role in the Harry Potter audiobook, Saoirse Monica Jackson turns off comments on her most recent instagram post, because she wants to take JK Rowling's money and not get any shit from trans people and their loved ones for it.

Yes, the actor who takes a role in any Harry Potter work is telling you that they are a bigot - let's not couch it - and that they aren't safe people to invite to LGBT+ events, spaces, or interact socially with LGBT+ people, and you should protect LGBT+ people from them in future.

Labour UK's plan to court the vote of Right Wing voters while utterly fucking over their Left Wing base is going exactly as you'd expect that plan would go.

That's why the Greens have now passed them in the polls, because they are offering a genuine Left Wing vote.
