Time to watch Ghostbusters (1984).

An all time classic.

The new Steam Machine isn't aimed at the enthusiast market. That's why it isn't packing state of the art, top end hardware.

Valve wants it to be a mainstream proposition, so have spec'd it accordingly. They know their costs. They know the price they want to sell it at. A $1500 Steam Machine won't/1

People need to stop pretending that Labour are doing this shit because they're trying to court a section of the electorate that will never vote for them.

And stat accepting that they're doing this shit because that is who they are.

Stop trying to rationalise the decision making of cunts.

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. (I refuse to use his stage name, because that is what it is)

When that piece of shit agrees with you, you have become the Far Right.

No ifs. No buts.
Not everyone is unhappy about the Government's descent into anti-refugee politics

The big tech run internet SUCKS, so I learned how to run a VPS and built my own forum. It's old school and modern. It's got signatures and chat. We're doing jams and sharing our art and talking about games. We do not abide bigotry or gen AI.

You are always welcome at theunderscore.xyz

And to my followers/moots who don't "do" politics, I apologise. But sometimes, I do engage in political discourse. It's just who I am.

Just when you think that Labour can't shit the bed any more, they somehow manage to do so.

Utterly vile. Not even a pretence of being a "left wing" or "socialist" political party any longer. They are evidently stuck on becoming "Reform-Lite" in the misguided belief this will keep them in power.
“on article 8 of the ECHR in particular the right to family life ..we want to constrain in legislation the way that that is applied in immigration cases” Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood tells Sky’s Trevor Philips

Who would have imagined we would ever hear this from a Labour government

All that's left of the incredible alternative shopping centres of Manchester's Northern Quarter these days is Afflecks (aka Afflecks Palace). All the others are long since gone and gentrified into apartments.

I spent my teenage Saturdays just looking around them all. Soaking it in.

I got my bootleg of Blair Witch Project from a cool shop in the now long lost Coliseum shopping centre in Manchester's Northern Quarter.

The shop openly sold bootlegs of the latest releases, and also has a stock of "special" tapes (the infamous "Video Nasties"). Built quite a collection from there
The first time I saw The Blair Witch Project was on a bootleg VHS of a cam recording.

Apparently the latest remaster of it actually makes the footage shot on the videocameras look like the original release, not the subsequent VHS & DVD releases.

Watching Fellowship of The Ring in 4K, and it really makes me want Peter Jackson to get on with it and remaster his early stuff (Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, Braindead) into at least HD.

I reviewed ARC Raiders. A good tool for players to make their own fun, but only when fun is what they choose to make. Otherwise, it's a very mediocre and tedious shooter that compounds its lack of originality with AI bullshit.

Billion dollar a year franchise uses huge amounts of AI assets.

This is what the big publisher's (ActivisionBlizzard/EA/etc) want. £70/$70 price, minimal cost to develop. All to increase profit margins on an already massively profitable product.
