But all the time saved by using AI art has been used to make it a bug free enjoyable game right?

Right?
Ai in videogames sucks. Ai in art sucks (it isn't art). Try and mash them together? FrankenstAins Monster levels of rubbish.

Some (yolk)folks should know better sadly.

Also it's been so long since you could buy this in WH Smith, mine isn't called WH Smith. Would have picked it up too if I hadn't bought mine with the personal shopper service at the Centre for Computing History.

While I’m done for the year for videos, as we’re nearing the end of the year I’ll leave you with this one from last year (that’s actually one of my faves). Enjoy and wishing you all a safe, happy and healthy holidays! ❤️🎉

Isn't it great when old stuff gets dragged out of retirement and forced to work again, just to be forced to do something they are not suited to.
But hey, enough of that, here's some games that were wheeled out of a nursing home to entertain some millennials or something.

This line from Video Games (Apr 83) was too prescient. One of the more frustrating things to me about the state of video game preservation is what feels like a general lack of interest in pre-'80s games; I will never stop banging the drum about the importance of '70s games (especially Death Race).

The biggest movie of the year on the cover, but the Last Action disappointed, and the game.... oh the game.

Elsewhere Sega Force Mega try to make a game, make a prediction about 2025 we are now in a position to test and miss the most important news of the month by a mile.

I also own the c64 Evercade carts, the only ones I’ve bought used.
November 25, 2025 at 11:46 PM
Incidentally I own one RGL machine, a c64 mini bought in a manner which gave them no money at the bottom of the market. As a product it’s a perfectly bang average but completely uninteresting unimaginative item for the vaguely nostalgic. None of their other ones have been close to cheap enough used.
November 25, 2025 at 11:45 PM
This is why the RGL machines have never, and will never be mentioned in YZ and part of why the fusion mags have stopped being (along with their continued employment of a troll connected to this). The article actually understates the whole thing.
I see a lot of people talking about the A1200 mini.

Here's a reminder that Paul Andrews of Retro Games ltd. (and various other companies, and a proper James Blunt) does not deserve your money:

I'd like to read your takes on music/animation/film/comics/culture/art/politics, but that's a hard line for me. Wish it was for you.

Gonna go with a classic, the Game Boy version of Dragons Lair is just a shot for shot remake of a spectrum game called Roller Coaster. This is despite the spectrum having a dragons lair game. Conversely the game boy color version of Dragon’s Lair is one woman’s personal miracle.
