The US government has proposed changes that would completely undermine the Endangered Species Act’s ability to protect wildlife.

Strong public backlash can make a difference; join us today and say NO to sabotaging the ESA! ➡️ xerces.org/protect-the-esa

HOMELESSNESS IS NOT A DRUG PROBLEM IT'S A HOUSING PROBLEM

I'm so sick of y'all in my mentions with this talking point, just stop.

PEOPLE CANNOT AFFORD RENT. Half of renters are paying over 30% of their income on rent, another quarter are paying over 50%!!!

People need homes they can afford!

Public service is an honor, not an opportunity for self-enrichment at the expense of our constituents.

My bill, the Stock Act 2.0, would ban stock trading for members of Congress, the Judiciary, and the Executive Branch. It’s time to bring accountability back to government.

DC statehood now
These 20 House Democrats just joined Republicans in voting to fully repeal DC's police reform laws.

Wiping off the books critical laws on use of force, transparency, and preventing violent cops from getting rehired.

They think that they should have more say over DC police than the people of DC.

One of my boring theories is that a successful progressive movement needs way more union presidents in public life.
My stupid galaxy brain continues to be "a foundational problems with the modern American left is that its luminaries are largely entertainers & academics, two groups who not only don't have to pass policy but actually benefit from continued leftist marginal status by retaining their cool cred."

Kitties find it very exciting duty to keep tails switching and eyes on the hummingbirds building a nest in the nearby Oregon Grape. Roxy on guard and Chex resting after her shift. The Hummingbirds zip right up to the window to face them on their way to find more lichen for the nest.

I may just be a simple country hooftrimming video watcher, but I think it's time we raise America's hoof, pare away the separated horn until we reach the infected area, spray it with a powerful cleansing agent, and place a salicylic acid wrap on the foot so we can begin to heal

We must note that all the condemnation of Tucker Carlson platforming Nick Fuentes has been about anti-Semitism and there has been an alarming and revealing silence around his anti-Black racism and white supremacy. When the head of the Heritage Foundation apologized, he only cited anti-Semitism.

Here's another bit of conventional wisdom Zohran completely blew away: His speech was at well above a 10th-grade level. It was complex, erudite, punctuated by deep and fluent references. You don't have to condescend to voters with baby talk! Part of re-establishing norms is speaking like an adult.

Something maybe worth noting is that all the frog costumes and signs and good-natured memeing came about because a wide spectrum of Americans saw someone in direct, brave confrontation with ICE—getting pepperballed and standing their ground—and thought “that’s awesome. That person is a hero”

This Labor Day weekend, every American needs to think about the hardworking laborers who grow our food being tormented by our government!

Did you know that 2/3 of US fruit/nuts & 1/3 of US veggies are from CA & ~76% of our farmworkers are undocumented?

We rely on them! Let's have their backs!
Workers are harvesting lettuce on CA's Central Coast. "Lupe" tells us that they work more than 8 hours this day. She tells us that you can see how the workers rotate breaks in this video. One crew is taking a break while the other two are working. #WeFeedYou
