'Time and Tide'

(From a previous winter.)

I saw a branch, cast ashore by the tide. It was shapely and elegant, and rocking to and fro with the rhythm of the sea. 1/5

If David Bowie‘s been dead for 10 years, that means we’ve been dealing with being down the wrong trouser leg of time for a decade, so no wonder we’re all exhausted
I’m delighted and honoured to be a part of this event at @britishlibrary.bsky.social on Saturday 17th January. A day dedicated to David Bowie, with live music and very special guests. I’ll be in conversation with David’s producer and friend, the legendary Tony Visconti.

So... spells.

We're using spells to undo the work we've done... tricking rocks into thinking with lightning.

And trapping evil cars in circles of salt.

The old ways are new again.

‘Textcast’, what a brilliant idea! And I will be exploring the links from this for weeks, so many interesting choices of music to listen to 🙂

The load-bearing myth at the heart of UK politics is that the politicians and media are tolerant and decent and working people are knuckle-dragging bigots, but it's actually completely the other way around.
