Renee Good and her partner were no threat to ICE. But they were being “uppity”. Just like any black or brown person - or woman - who doesn’t know their place in the face of white male authority.
When Renee Good said "I'm not mad at you" what the ICE goon heard was "I'm not scared of you."
That's what enraged him. The populace wasn't fully terrorized and cowed into submission yet, so he acted to make that happen.

I've always thought that the whole "natural immunity is the best way to protect people" thing was a bit like saying "getting pregnant is the best form of birth control."

Mine too. Since the Revolution, countless Americans gave their lives to secure and defend our liberties under the Constitution. For Democrats to pivot to affordability would be to ignores the severity of the current constitutional crisis, and to dishonor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The “prosecute the former regime at every level” candidate has my vote in 2028.

Unfortunately, this is correct. Masked ICE agents detaining people without legal warrants may be doing many things, but law enforcement is definitely not among those things.
