As a military officer I am going to keep saying this---please stop framing this as "war crimes". There is no war here. We are not at war with a handful of drug runners off the coast of Venezuela. It's a extrajudicial killing. Calling it a "war crime" gives it legitimacy it does not have.

Republicans in Congress have pretty much ceded the power of the purse (which is Legislative) to the Executive Branch. They may not have done it formally, but they haven’t fought Trump on ANYTHING in Congress this Congressional Session.
