but saying "everyone can with practice" feels a bit like saying everyone has the same 24 hours in a day
I wish I could draw, but it's not worth the physical pain and frustration I know comes with trying (and I have tried many, many times over the years)

I think encouraging people to keep at the art they're doing because improvement *does* come from practice is great! I love seeing experienced artists cheering on people who are newer to a shared artform, I think that's really wonderful and important!

I understand why people gravitate toward the "everyone can do art if they just try!" argument against genAI, but we seriously need to acknowledge this is not everyone's reality and that is STILL no excuse to use the planet-killing plagiarism machine
