It would take a two-word amendment to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 to subject ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers to the same liability for constitutional violations that local and state officers currently face.
If Congress actually cared about what it's seeing, it could pass that overnight.

ICE just indiscriminately stopped a citizen at a bus stop in front of the co-op. If this is how they treat the President of the Minneapolis City Council who is legally observing, just think of what they’re doing to everyone else in our City.

ICE was just chasing people around in the Michaels craft store where I took my toddler yesterday shopping for fairy lights, and that isn’t top 5 craziness things I have seen today.

The lesson Frey and Walz were supposed to learn in 2020 was that sending riot police to a peaceful protest creates a confrontation that results in some dipshit cops shooting people in the eye with a gas canister which then we have to goddamn pay for in settlements while also our city burns.

ICYMI: Minneapolis Public Schools will offer a virtual option for students until February 12th, starting next week. Educators, staff, and administration will begin to work to stand up this option for students tomorrow.
