Thanks to tech advances, bosses are gaining new ways to track what workers are up to — and sometimes that even extends beyond the office.

this is a call to action for more educators to speak up about what they're seeing in their classrooms, campuses, and communities. our young people are being traumatized. it's time to throw down the gauntlet. we cannot let this continue.

I’ll never forget hearing Donald Trump’s racist “shithole countries” comment in a 2018 Oval Office meeting about immigration.

Tom Cotton and David Perdue claimed Trump didn’t say it and accused me of lying.

The truth comes out.
TRUMP: “I said why is it we only take people from shithole countries? Why can't we have some people from Norway, Sweden, Denmark… But we always take people from Somalia— places that are filthy, dirty, disgusting.”

Such a mystery what he means when he says this stuff, isn’t it?

And he'll only allow it to be sold to someone who will turn it into Trump TV. (As in, even more than it already is.)
“.. Behind the scenes in recent days, Trump has repeatedly told allies that CNN should either be sold or get new leadership, according to people familiar with the discussions, even if Netflix’s proposal is approved.”

WOW. So this is obviously a huge violation of this man's rights, and it illustrates a few things we're seeing broadly:

- DHS officers are ignoring peoples' IDs and instead requiring screening through their own systems
- Confirms @404media.co's reports of use of DHS's facial recognition app.

See also: this is why they hate the ACA.
If you aren't beholden to your company for your healthcare, you might get it in your head that you can walk away and still be happy.
This is exactly what the bosses who put Trump into office were trying to achieve. Crushing the tight labor market from the early Biden years that gave workers - for the first time in my adult lifetime - leverage over their bosses.
NEW

US labor market flows remained sluggish in October data released this morning, as hiring slowed to nearly the lowest level since early COVID

The hiring rate fell to 3.2%, layoffs rose to 1.2%, quits fell to 1.8%, and job openings rose to 4.6%

JUST IN: It appears Democrats will win the mayor's office in Miami.

This would be a flip from GOP.

It's not final yet, but Democrat Eileen Higgins is up 61% to 39% as the first 23K ballots are counted. That's *the majority of votes cast*, & Election Day is no less Democratic today.

More soon!

This is why Clinton lost her bid for the presidency: When Donald Trump shows contempt toward justice-seekers, those who delight in cruelty draw in closer. When Clinton shows contempt for justice seekers, those in her party reject her. Contemptuousness is off-putting for the majority of human beings.
Clinton is continuing to mock young people, including young Jewish people, by claiming they're making things up when they condemn Israel's genocide in Palestine.

With receipts, I document the history of injustice that got us here, and how we stop these atrocities

And the lower-income areas (Scarborough and northern Etobicoke) have longer commutes!

Someone should do something about this.
