I’m proud to have helped establish The Lighthouse in Camden, bringing together services for survivors of abuse. A model that the government is now replicating nationally.

I joined Secretary of State Wes Streeting and Jess Phillips MP to see the vital support they offer.

A huge day for working people across the capital.

The Employments Rights Bill will end exploitative zero-house contracts, guarantee sick pay from day one and strengthen workplace protections. It shows the impact of a Government working with trade unions to improve working lives.

Ahmed al Ahmed, the man who tackled one of the Bondi killers, became an Australian citizen 3 years ago.

His deed was "his way of conveying his gratitude for staying in Australia, for being granted citizenship."

He took 5 bullets, and fears he'll lose his left arm.

In a major win for Trans+ rights, an employment tribunal has ruled the Supreme Court’s ruling on the definition of ‘woman’ does not require trans people to be excluded from single-sex spaces.

Amazing!! Women Help Women (womenhelp.org) is manufacturing their own abortion pills in order to make abortion safer, simpler and more accessible across borders. They designed an eco-friendly combi-pack that's easier to mail discreetly and centred around women’s experiences and needs.

In case you're wondering how it's going on TERF Island, the co-presenter of a popular BBC #radio4 show has resigned, because management didn't like him expressing support for trans people.

Express contempt - as many BBC presenters have done - and that's just fine, apparently.

Basically, the US government could be vetting your personal details even if you have NO plans to visit the US, but a family member is.

This invasion of privacy reaches further than those visiting the US!
Gonna be telling all my family members thinking of going to the US that they do NOT have my permission to give out my personal telephone numbers (or home address) to any Tom, Dick or Donald for their holiday.
