Black man. Cis, straight, he/him. Ally to everyone because if we don't hang together the man will damn sure hang us separate.

Don't engage; just block.

Seriously, how is there no one with even a modicum of power who will stand up to this paper dictator? Regular Americans are literally putting their lives on the line and news agencies are killing coverage to placate someone we know is senile and on his way out one way or another. Fuck Gallup

Trump's numbers are so low they stopped measuring numbers.

I no joke sincerely believed Chris Hayes was smarter than this.
I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

I've said it many times before, and I'll doubtless say it again -- Jesse Watters might be the single dumbest employee of Fox News.

Which is impressive when you consider that this is an organization that also employs Steve Doocey, a man who seems to genuinely not understand that fire is hot.

When I'm signing stacks of books or tip-in sheets, I will usually take an at least five-minute break every half hour, get up, walk around and relax my arm. If I'm doing a signing line I'll sign until done (my longest line was 4 hours), but the pace of that is generally slower, so it's not as bad.
Do you know how long you can keep that up before exhaustion would force you to take a break?

I remember my fingers used to ache when I finished writing an essay in a blue book or two in history classes.

I don't want to get in his replies and make a thing out of it, but I think this is fascinating. Like, I know big authors at times will sign truly ridiculous numbers of books, but I guess I had it in my head that it was a kind of thing where your publisher would send you boxes of books and (1/?)
It's roughly one book every 3.66 seconds, which with my signature is doable - again, if the books are already stacked and flapped, and if someone is dealing with them after I've signed them. If they're not stacked/flapped/dealt with, the time per book goes up considerably.
