Black man. Cis, straight, he/him. Ally to everyone because if we don't hang together the man will damn sure hang us separate.

Don't engage; just block.

Would YOU like to kill Nazis with G.I. Robot?

Republican voters did this to us, and they did it deliberately, and you are nowhere CLOSE to angry enough about that fact.
Oh NO, I thought "Strong floor, no ceiling" was a shit line from a Hakeem Jeffries speech that people had latched onto because it's super bad and making fun of it was a good bit.

Oh NO.
“Make America Great Again” is a trite retread of a Reagan gimmick, but it resonates because of the bad guy: everyone who once had no power in America.

That’s a perfect target for a candidate who uses bigotry and misogyny as the nuclear reactor.

Who’s the bad guy in “Strong Floor, No Ceiling?
Democrats’ New Slogan Is a Donor-Class Disaster
It’s time to start the 2028 primary and step over this donor-coddling nonsense.

It really isn’t said enough how much these people straight up hate America. People should say this a lot more frequently. They simply don’t like the good parts of modern American life.
"Sources in the Trump administration have previously told Zeteo that officials will at times intentionally use popular music from vocally anti-Trump performing artists, in order to trigger a negative response from a famous liberal and provide further amplification of their pervasive culture war,"
NEWS: The Trump-Vance White House is attacking Sabrina Carpenter.

In a new statement, the White House — led by Trump, a liable sexual abuser mired in scandal for ties to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — suggests Carpenter is "stupid" and is defending pedophiles and rapists.

"Even my the standards of The Atlantic" is absolutely savage.
Even by the standards of The Atlantic, this is an extraordinarily weak evidence base for an article.

Data from a tiny handful of schools that isn't measuring the variable at issue and a few thin, secondhand anecdotes.

Me reading this and looking at the picture: "Wait what, 6th year is like 12 years old, how am I supposed to recognize -- oh damn there he is, holy shit."

"He who was my companion, through adventure and hardship, is gone forever."

It still manages to catch me by surprise, sometimes, just how damn much I miss him. Love you, brother. Happy birthday.

Uh-oh. They're about to Lynndie England some poor bastard and pretend there was an airman first class or thereabouts who did this completely of his own volition.

See kids? This is why you should always refuse to follow illegal orders.
Reporter: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order

Leavitt: The latter is true

Further reinforcing my theory that the US is in the mess it's in now because it's currently being run at nearly every level by a LOT of motherfuckers who are suffering from Short Man Syndrome.

By the way how tall is Pete Hegseth, since we're on the subject.
This FBI “pulse check” report on the dept under Patel and Bongino is a mixed bag - the fibbies love having no more sensitivity training but many hate going on ICE raids and think leadership is weak - but this anecdote is clearly gold: K$H Patel wearing the traditional FBI Director’s ladies clothes.

Again I ask, are we *absolutely certain* this man actually has a twin brother?

Very happy for the reminder because I was *absolutely certain* I had already pre-ordered this, but I can find precisely no evidence that I have done so.

Oh well. Worst-case scenario is I'll end up with two copies of this great story.
Just showed up in the mail: a proof copy of @darkhorse.com's physical collection of LAVENDER JACK VOLUME 1! I sort of can't believe how good it looks. It's HEFTY, too. They tell me FOC is Monday so if you haven't preordered yet I highly encourage it: www.darkhorse.com/books/3016-7...

Translation: Pete may well go down for this. But I’m not going with him.
Reporter: If there were a second strike that killed wounded people, would that be legal?

Trump: I don’t know that happened and Pete said he did not even know what people were talking about. I wouldn’t have wanted a second strike. The first strike was very lethal. It was fine.

This unfortunately is indeed too long for a sign, but I feel like its spirit is properly captured by the slogan I'm planning to use if/when (and that "when" is looking increasingly likely) I run for office, "JAIL IS THE COMPROMISE POSITION".
"I'm going to tax the everloving shit out of the rich people who made your life miserable and put every masked thug who broke the law or traitor who wrecked the government for their own profit in prison" I admit is too long for a sign, but at the very least this should be the spirit of the thing.
No value, no villain, no vision. Sounds like the tagline for the earnings call of a collapsing appliance retailer

The highest calling of journalism isn’t to tell two sides of a story.

The highest calling of journalism is to tell the truth.

And acting like a stenographer is a betrayal of your audience.
Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.

Are we sure he actually has a twin brother? This isn't like a Mike Murdock situation, is it?
They’re burying the weirdest part of this story, which is that this congressman’s twin brother keeps trying and failing to replace him in various jobs and is now hoping to replace him in this one
