Following Gavin Williamson at the COVID inquiry talking about how much of a clusterfuck he made of schools during the pandemic.

I hope someone pulls him up about this absolutely ridiculous comment, especially when he threatened legal action against schools if they closed early in Dec 2020.

he never said arresting netanyahu would make him a trumpian fascist. that phrase was posted by an account known for using extreme rhetoric to accuse mamdani of effectively saying that as a result of him softening.

"A few years ago I received a DM from Zohran Kwame Mamdani. Only recently did I discover its existence. It was a very unusual DM—especially coming from a local assemblyman who would soon be running for higher office. He had very little name recognition at the time, and could have benefited from publicity. But unlike the thousands of messages I’ve received from people with something to promote, Zohran did not ask to be featured on Humans of New York. Instead he asked if he could introduce me to taxi drivers that were struggling beneath the burden of debt. Coming from a man with political ambitions, this self-denying request was so strange as to be almost singular. I don’t endorse politicians on Humans of New York. But I’ll endorse a good man. And it was a good man who cleared 30 minutes from his schedule yesterday to swing by Grand Central and visit Dear New York’s Vanderbilt Hall Exhibition. Nearly fifty-student artists were visiting that day with their families, and I thought a surprise visit from this widely-loved future mayor would be a special memory for all of them. Before Zohran’s arrival I was convinced I’d made a terrible mistake. The exhibit was filled to capacity with adult visitors. Dear New York is self-funded so there was very little staff and security for crowd control. In the crush of people I was almost certain this special day for the kids would devolve into thirty minutes of selfie requests. But everyone rose to the occasion."

Yeeep. Our school librarian had to confiscate one (think it was that Icebreaker one) from a student (Year 8, so about 12/13) because she knew the content was inappropriate.

It stems a lot from TikTok and Instagram.

Ha, no. Lots of infighting and refusal to establish policies, in particular their stance as a party on trans people, which was needed when Corbyn added in a transphobic MP.

Also some Corbyn fans are being fanatical, much like how Starmer fans are with people who disagree with him.

I was evicted from @FiLiA_charity and told by security - that even before my phone was stolen and I was attacked by a Filia panelist - that I had been reported for what I did to take down the anti-Semitic display from the stage. This is the message if they therefore protect. "No Jews at Filia next time!"

Can I be absolutely clear. I walked out without being wrestled like Masoud had to be. I complied with security. I have full footage.

Next year @FiLiA_charity will be held during one of the holiest times in the Jewish calendar. Yom Kippur.

A Jewish woman told me,

"Yom Kippur starts at sundown on the Sunday evening, Sept 20th so the event will have officially finished but of course unless you live very close women wouldn't have a chance to get home/ to shul/ to prepare for the fast etc"

Another told me,

"Have you seen next FiLiA clashes with Yom Kippur? That's the loudest statement they could make about how welcome Jews are in their event"

Just tried to enter Filia for the last day... I have been told that I'm banned.....the only reason I can think this has happened is because I was in the vacinty of women who decided to throw drinks and punches at each other.
