go to your local library or bookstore and ask someone who works there what *they’re* reading! read something that had an editor, had a publisher, something an author you love loves, something that was a lambda finalist or award winner, something with some meat on its fucking bones!

So I have a whole essay on this I started writing over a year ago, but stop pretending rehabilitative justice is your value if you believe people shouldn't have access to *any* form of community or relationships.
Not saying it's wrong to feel that way, but those two things are inherently at odds.
