look, yeah, good information is hard to come by and we're seeing an intense degradation of search engines by way of AI slop, but sometimes the problem is you are literally the problem and refuse to google something, it is not the govt or google's fault you dont know what a gourd is

Really, the entire zone should be rewritten IMO, with a much better experience setting up who they are, why you need to care, what things they're important to, but these are decades old characters with decades of lore. There isn't really a perfect solution here, but getting rid of NPCs we don't-

Wrathion's is in Cata, Pandaria, Draenor, Legion, BFA, you can't expect a new player to go through all of them, or know about the removed content no longer available aside from 480p youtube videos.

Is it clunky? Absolutely. Is it at the cost of character? Yeah.
But its a solution, at least.

With DF being the new leveling experience, you NEED to know who Wrathion and Kalec are. It NEEDS to be condensed for new players, but also a reminder they're important for old ones, especially given their stories are spread so much across different xpacs. Much of Kalec's story is in Wrath!

from Exile's reach. It's literally just extra world building for who these guys are if you do dungeons with them, which a lot of people don't.

We have zero reason to care about them, need to know them, or nag nostalgia for them. Not the case for the new cast in the least.

Like let's be real: This is no significant loss story wise. The Horde and Alliance versions of old exiles reach are virtually identical, just with characters and VAs swapped out. It has VERY little impact on the story if... any, really. We don't interact w them in meaningful ways going forward-

tbh im completely fine with losing the Exile's reach characters stories with the update to it and replacing them with Kaelc, Wrathion, Thrall, and Jaina.

Especially that, for some reason, in follower dungeons I'm always stuck with the alliance team.
