So my Airbnb canceled on me for PAXU, and now I don’t have a place to stay. I looked for places close to the convention center, but everything is super expensive & I’m not able to pay upfront right now (which I want to).

Twitch finally admitted their anti-bot system is negatively impacting authentic view counts, alongside a bunch of other bizarre choices for what makes you count as a viewer. We were all right to complain.

These past few months my average viewership has dropped from 300+ to 150.

The thing that solidified it for me that it wasn’t “just a bug” was the clip of the person with 750 viewers asking their lurkers to talk for a moment and immediately jumping up to 1000 viewers in like 10 seconds

it has the usual reddit problems but it does serve as a great way to start training your brain to recognize the things AI likes to fuck up. for instance, it's gotten better at hands but will still fuck up background patterns and give people irises that aren't perfectly round
