I've been saying for over a decade that @megueyb.bsky.social and @lumpley.bsky.social's work with Apocalypse World is arguably in the top four most influential works influencing what tabletop roleplaying games look like today. May this be the first of MANY honors given to AW in the mainstream!
i will say: i did kind of assume transition would fix all of my insecurities. alas, i think i'm extra concerned with *being* my best self now that i'm starting to *look* like my best self. there's this fear there that i... need to earn it, somehow? earn recovery, earn love, earn care

i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!
