Real golf is immoral. Virtual golf is forever.

I haven't brought this up in a while on here (felt like I should give other people the stage for a while), but I am still out of work, and running out of money to keep my bills/loans covered.

ko-fi.com/wildweasel - Donations highly appreciated. Pointers towards employment, even more so.

Guess I'm getting something for early-Christmas this year after all. My parents (effectively, my clients, on the movie-ripping thing) have seen my struggles with the flimsy, badly-behaved Blu-Ray drive, and ordered me a brand new one.

Shit costs like $150! They're spending that much on me, at 38...

Upon further testing, not only could we reproduce the glitch on an actual Game Gear, the Master System actually spawns the animal container causing the entire BOSS FIGHT to be skipped! Just remember me when you, Sonic Speed Runner, breaks a world record!

Apps are always asking me 'mute? block? report? don't recommend? downvote?' when the only option I want or need is "Imagine I am your grand vizier and I have yelled "ENOUGH!" without explanation."

My new favorite shotgun - an Arbiter 2 with a Scroll of Rocket Launcher on it. So overpowered it obliterates the frame rate for just a brief moment.

LMAO SO I LEARNED TODAY, that concept art I drew 5 years ago for Treasure Tech Land's Jungle Knight (Metal Slug inspired rifle)

Apparently earlier this year, some prop maker used that art thinking it was some REAL game reference for Metal Slug and made a full 3d model of it

I'm honestly honored

In contrast, Hotel Barcelona (the Swery/Suda collaboration) recently took all generative AI elements out of the game as the headline for a big patch that included additional quality of life additions and fixes.

Hope exists for this shit, too.
The article is well worth a read; this information would never have come to light were it not for Steam's AI disclosure policy, and the game looks to be a rushed cash grab not involving Grasshopper studio.

This is why CEOs dont like AI disclosures, they want to be able to discreetly serve slop
The Let it Die sequel - Let it Die: Inferno - which is coming out next week (4th December), seems to have been built using a considerable amount of generative AI. https://bit.ly/4ol7lIA

Currently chilling out to this: youtu.be/oBkzcA6mIUk

From @chubigans.bsky.social (of Cook Serve Delicious fame), a game that went under the radar, I think. I didn't play a ton of it, I admit, but the music is loads of this excellent moody slow-electronica, like, mirror-universe Weather Channel.

"Don't scroll past this!" - I will.
"Don't ignore this!" - Consider it ignored.
"If you don't reblog this you are literal human trash" - And you will never, ever have the evidence to prove it.

Look. Just say what you're gonna say. Don't prefix it with appeals to guilt. Shit don't work on me.

The thing about fansubs is regardless of anything else that may be going on, ultimately fansubs are made by someone who *really cares about what they're making*. That actually was true at one time at Crunchyroll. It is not true now.

Just somehow got a mutual-aid post in my notifications. It was not obviously attached to any post that I'd made, and didn't obviously have any at-mentions in it. I have no idea how they put it in front of me that way.

'Elf Bowling 1&2' released for GBA / DS on this day in 2005.

Slapdash conversions of a pair of shareware classics from '99 / '00. Completely lacking in whatever charm the originals had, and egregious in its attempt to profit off of freely available games.

Please keep putting pressure on PayPal. Stories like this are becoming more and more common. Artists don’t deserve to lose their source of income over payment processors being puritanical/anti-small business.
I'm devastated, if I don't find an alternative that works with argentinians I'm contemplating the worst, I can't do regular jobs, art was my job for around 15 years
I don't do nsfw even when people insist me to

'Club Drive' released on this day in 1994.

The "premiere" driving game for the Atari Jaguar, featuring a range of different race / mission modes and even the ability to rewind time. Unfortunately, it was also critically slammed for its lacklustre visuals and audio.
