And yes, I've done it several times for Coachella and just in general, even for Coachella traffic is pretty manageable and it's a straight run with lots of stops along the way for food and respite if needed.

Honestly probably better to do the drive, the car will come in handy in Palm springs anyway, the rental might be cheaper than the multi stop flight itinerary, and it's not too bad of a mini road trip as things go
