Hard to sum up the state of the world much better than to say that I feel guilty mourning specifically the loss of one of the great artists of our time because so many other people died in horrific ways this weekend

Rob Reiner made some great movies but he was also unafraid to speak the truth, and was one of the public voices who knew you don’t squander your platform, and only got louder about opposing evil fucks as he got older. Legend.

Then GOP moderates rebelled, calling getting rid of the extensions “political shocked” and now they’re apparently going to vote on the new health plan *and* ACA extensions next week.
