Finally got off my ass and joined Bluesky! I was @-TheVincentSmyth over on Twitter
I recorded a proof of concept run earlier for Congo: Descent Into Zinj. I've submitted it to SRC for opening a board! Time of 32:51s is easily 5+ mins over what a "proper" run would be due to some mistakes and misclicks. Also need to properly test Amy's guidance to see if it's RNG or not.

May as well make it a whole thing to blow up their lines once a day.
Source familiar with MasterCard‘s internal workings: The company finds the censorship focus from consumers “profoundly irritating“ amid larger political issues — they want the controversy around paypros censorship to quietly disappear
Predictions for LRG'S event today:
-OG RE trilogy & Dino Crisis physical edition after digital re-release
-WayForward with new Clock Tower news
-Bubsy 4D release date
-Nightdive's updated release of IHNMAIMS
-DarkSeed remaster

-Enemy Zero for 30th anniversary 2026
Shoutout to the time I found this collection of public domain pumpkin images in a computer shop, with this Tintin one being the best
They're the complete kind of fuckwits who would look at Pokemon cards sales numbers, say "I want that" then start selling regular playing cards packs with "Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy" from PS2 on the back as a Licensed Gaming Card and then be taken aback they didn't put Nintendo out of business.
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

Comixology went from "ooh what weekly bundle sales are there to load up my tablet with" to "I can't tell the reading order or download a complete story arc or check if I even own all the issues without going through 5 different unrelated menus"- no suprise they fucked up how to sell games to people.
Wonder is there much overlap of the idiots who managed Comixology. Instead of leaving it thrive, insisted on frankensteining it into Kindle because hey- it's all reading right? Trashed *everything* that was good about it (good sales, searching & offline reader able to easily download related comics)
It's so frustrating seeing people earning more money a year than you or I would in a decade being so fundementally incomptent and keeping their jobs. Over 15 fucking years of going "they'll just come to us, right?" without a single shred of awareness or willingness to learn.

NEW VIDEO!
Something curious has happened at the Heilwald Clinic: a strange time loophole has been discovered, and now no one is able to die.

The Heilwald Loophole is an eccentric, offbeat and criminally underrated indie horror, and today I'd like to tell you all about it 💉

'Trespasser' released on this day in 1998.

Massively innovative and deeply flawed in equal measure. Barely able to run on computers of its era, due to a myriad of technical issues and high system requirements. Might be the most novel / compelling licensed tie-in of all time?
Happy Tuesday. Stay strong, stay smiling 💛

This one is underated! Control scheme takes a while to get used to but its charming
No harm having another DRM free copy 😁
I would love to see Enemy Zero! 30th anniversary for the original Sega Saturn release is 2026 and it did have a PC port that can easily be released digitally...
I can't stress enough how humbled I am. I've met so many wonderful people in the retro horror game scene who made the time to say hi. I still feel like a fraud taking spots from actual proper runners & streamers. You all are so goddamn kind and wonderful. Thank you for putting up with my bullshit! 💛
